I spent 4.5 years serving in Bolivia. This included
2 years as a Dominican priest. In Bolivia I
served as a Chaplain at the Viedma Hospital in Cochabamba. I also taught Sociology and Philosophy at the Universidad de San Simon. Upon returning to the United States, I spent over 17 years as a factory worker at Briggs & Stratton, where I was an activist with the local union.
I was the founder of The Faith Community for Worker Justice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
At present I am a volunteer at Voces de la Frontera and
The New Sanctuary Movement.
I'm married to Joanne Lange and we have three children and five grandchildren.
